Reserve Component Business Ownership and Entrepreneurship

The Entrepreneurship/Business Ownership chapter is divided into sections. The first section contains information provided by the US Small Business Administration, which explains the federal programs, loans, and federal contacting information. National Guard and Reserve service members, their spouses and adult family members who own their own small business or are thinking of starting a small business or franchise, should read both sections thoroughly. Information contained in these sections is also valuable for Guard and Reserve members who work for small businesses. Small Business Administration Programs.
The second section contains information and resources provided by the National Veterans Business Development Corporation, a federally-chartered independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization designed to assist Veterans in starting or growing small businesses. These resources are tools created specifically to support members of the National Guard and Reserve with entrepreneurship including fully-mentored access programs and a guide to prepare businesses for deployment.
